SANT BABA HARI SINGH JI KAHARPURI

'SANT BABA HARI SINGH JI KAHARPURI' was a great visionary, who vision for the higher education for the people of Mahilpur and neighboring area almost eighty years ago. His dream started materializing in late thirties of last century. In 1946, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College took birth under Sikh Educational Council Mahilpur. Sant Baba Hari Singh ji became the first Founder President of this Council. With a missionary zeal of imparting quality education to the socially, economically and educationally deprived people of this rural, backward and kandi area. The college soon touched the heights of success and development in the field of education and sports. With a mission to establish an exclusive teacher training institute, Sikh Educational Council started a new venture in the form of Sant Baba Hari Singh Memorial Khalsa College of Education from the session 2006-07. Under the vision and mission of Sant Baba Hari Singh ji and a joint effort of Sikh Educational Society, the college achieved a sublime position in the region of Punjab. By the grace of God and blessings of Sriman Sant Sadhu Singh Ji the institute is known for high reputation, dedicated faculty, latest methodology of teaching learning and guidance for the professional growth of pupil teacher.
